What are the differences between the NMT and NME Case-Based Training Series?

NME (Neurosequential Model in Education) Series

The NME Case-Based Training Series is an educational, case-conference series led by Dr. Perry and CTA's NME Team. This Series focuses on problem solving in everyday academic settings.  Dr. Perry will explore common classroom challenges with real children as he introduces emerging concepts related to brain-functioning, brain development and traumatology in every-day educational settings.  This Series is shorter than the NMT Series: five 60-minute sessions and will help educators and carers better understand children with attention, learning and behavioral problems and give practical solutions and strategies.

Participation options and fees:

Option 1: Attend live via the Internet.  All sessions take place on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00pm CST.  CLICK HERE for a schedule of the Live Session dates.  Cost: Organizations - $800 (up to 25 participants at a single site); Individuals - $300.

Option 2: Watch recordings of the live sessions via the Internet.  Recorded sessions are available the very same day that each live session is conducted.  View whenever you wish.  Stop, pause, and/or replay each session.  This method is cost saving and ideal for groups working at more than one location as well as participants with hectic schedules or residing in different time zones.  Cost: Organizations: $750 (up to 25 participants); Individuals - $250.

NMT (Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics) Series

The NMT Case-Based Training Series is a clinical case conference series led by Dr. Bruce Perry and attended by participants via the Internet. The ChildTrauma Academy offers our NMT Case-Based Training Series two times annually: WINTER and FALL.  Each series consists of ten 90-minute sessions for a total of 15 training hours.  The focus of each session is the presentation and discussion of a client during which the NMT model and web-based NMT Clinical Practice tools are used.  Each session includes a brief didactic presentation on a specific topic.  Participants receive a case abstract, metric report, and case summary for each session as part of the training package.
