It's time to cash in on that great education you received - or the time you spend reading People magazine - and impress your friends at just how brilliant you are!

 

DeSales High School is proud to team up with Holy Cross and the Holy Rosary Alumnae Assocation once again to bring you the second Ramble for the Roses Trivia Night, held this year at Holy Cross High School.

 

Compete for cash, win door prizes and play the Heads-or-Tails game while having a fun night out with family and friends. There will be ten rounds of trivia played under closely-watched time parameters to keep from going too late. A video board will display questions and real-time scoring.

 

Funds raised will suport the Holy Rosary Scholarship Program at DeSales and Holy Cross.

 

Cost is $15 per player. Mulligans and Split-the-Pot raffles will also be sold. No coolers/no BYOB, please. Beer, soda and other concessions will be sold, or bring your own snack food.

About the Holy Rosary Scholarship Program

 

Holy Rosary Academy was founded in 1867 by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catharine, KY.  In July 1997, Holy Rosary merged with Spalding University and was operated as a sister school of Presentation Academy. The school closed in 2002, after more than 135 years of Catholic education in Louisville.

 

The Holy Rosary Academy name is carried on today in the form of a scholarship program at DeSales and Holy Cross High Schools.  The Holy Rosary Scholarship is presented to descendants of Rosary graduates and is funded by an endowment set up through the proceeds of the annual Ramble for the Roses.  The Ramble Trivia Night will serve to supplement these funds and to help ensure that the Rosary name endures for many years to come.
