Well, it's over.

Not entirely of course but 2012 is definitely just about over. 

 

I'm not a big fan of endings.  I much prefer beginnings.  I have trouble finishing classes - opting to always fit in one last thing (have you noticed?).  My husband has noted on many occasion how I habitually leave just one item in the sink "soaking" as opposed to simply finishing the job.  As our year comes to a close and we wrap up a month of wonderful community events and it makes sense to take stock of all the beginnings that have impacted us this year and the flurry of new starts that will take place over the next few weeks.

 

This year saw the beginning of a physical overhaul of the studio as our retail area took shape and our downstairs massage room was repurposed as a second office.  The acoustics project is well underway and will be visible in a few weeks time so keep your eyes open.  Our class schedule continues to be reinvented and will steadily morph according to your needs as we move through the seasons of 2013.  We were lucky enough to welcome several new instructors to our family and sad to bid some farewell. Overall, our community of students grew stronger and stronger over the year and our Real Pilates clan is more a family now than ever.  

 

Beginning this year, a few new programs and options will be available for our students.  And I personally am launching a program for business owners to work intimately with them and build an army of studios that will represent Joe and Clara Pilates well.  

 

Where will it all end?  I can't say.  

But then, this is really just the beginning.
