I just received a welcome mat that I ordered with our last name beautifully placed in the center. Now I read in your book that this is not a good idea. What can I do?

Hi Ron,

Yes, you are correct. Having your name on the floor gives people the opportunity to "walk all over you." I do not recommend using it at all. Maybe it's possible to hang it instead?  

 

This is one of those situations where there's no adjustment that can be done so that you can use this doormat. No matter how you cut it, people are seeing your name and then wiping their feet on it----NOT a good message.

 

 


The Chinese calendar, called the Tong Shu, reflects astrological cycles which can indicate on a daily basis whether there is a tendency toward good fortune or the
need for retreat or protection. If you're trying to make a decision about moving forward with a project or making a decision, you would want to do this on an extremely auspicious day or at least one indicated as a good day.
