Koa Ridge is on its Way!

We are pleased to report that the Honolulu City Council has approved Bill 48 that will make Castle & Cooke's Koa Ridge a reality. The final step remaining will be Mayor Kirk Caldwell's review and signature to make Bill 48 an ordinance that establishes the final rezoning of Koa Ridge.

Thank you for your ongoing support of this project. From our Visioning Team Members, to the thousands of individuals and organizations who took the time to send letters in support of Koa Ridge to council members or testified in person before the City Council -- we truly appreciate your help!

Now the real work begins. We are currently finalizing the Koa Ridge Master Plan and look forward to completing the engineering and design process. Ground breaking is slated for 2015 with occupancy of the first homes in 2016.

We are extremely excited about delivering another master planned community for Hawaii residents that will provide new homeownership opportunities for so many local families. The project will also boost our economy by creating 1,000 annual construction jobs, an additional 1,600 indirect and induced jobs and when completed, 2,300 permanent jobs including 1,100 high paying medical jobs at the planned Medical Center Complex.

Many of you have already contacted us to inquire about homeownership in Koa Ridge. While specific information on the type of homes, price ranges and sales release dates have not been determined yet, we encourage you to register for Castle & Cooke Homes Web Advantage Program and we will notify you as information becomes available.

Thank you again for your support!
