CYBER LIABILITY INSURANCE...

Can You Afford NOT To Have It?

A great majority of non-profits and human service organizations are unaware that their standard General Liability insurance coverage generally does not provide appropriate coverage for a cyber liability claim. A good Cyber Liability policy can pick up where your General Liability policy leaves off.

There are many possible scenarios where an organization could experience a cyber liability claim. One example is if an agency receives donations on line. A skilled hacker can then easily and diligently infiltrate the agency's network security and gain access to credit card information. Another example is if an employee loses a USB containing private information (i.e. names, address and social security numbers). This would certainly be an example of a possible claim that would fall under this type of coverage.

The show date was March 1st, 2014. The radio show is designed to reach prospective and current adoptive families, couples, and singles with the resources they need to successfully bring their family together.

Phil was asked to talk about his 27 years of knowledge and experience in the insurance industry and the role H&A plays in helping to protect these agencies with the right insurance coverage

and to protect not only their interests but their mission.

WAYNE FRED HAWLEY

December 12th, 1934 - March 13th, 2014

We are sad to announce the passing of Wayne Hawley. Wayne was the father of H&A's President, Phil Hawley. He was literally a 'founding father' of Hawley & Associates. Without his knowledge, unwaving patience and guiding hand, H&A would not be the company it is today.

You will forever remain in the hearts of your friends and family, Wayne. Not a single day will pass that you are not loved and remembered.

Annual Convention

H&A President, Phil Hawley and

Sr. Vice President, Cari Maciolek were excited to be part of this year's NATSAP (National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs) Annual Convention, which took place in Las Vegas, this past February.

They met some amazing people and learned of many new organizations & programs that focus solely on treatment and addicton.

Throughout the years, we have been able to assist many NATSAP members with their unique insurance needs AND have saved them thousands of dollars in the process. We are thrilled that we helped so many and continue to do so every day.

Many of our clients attended the conference and it was Phil's pleasure to host a client dinner one evening. It was was a fabulous time! It was great to socialize, have a fantastic meal and get some valuable feedback from the people we strive to service each and every day.

ORPHANS OVERSEAS

Annual Fundraiser

Hawley & Associates strongly believes in the industry we serve and were proud to sponsor this year's Orphans Overseas "An Evening of Hope" annual fundraiser, held in Portland, OR. on March 15th, 2014.

The gala dinner and auction supported the Orphans Overseas projects on behalf of vulnerable women and children around the world.

They are a US-based non-profit organization and for 22 years they have worked around the world supporting orphan care initiatives, rescue care for abandoned infants, support programs, domestic & intercountry adoption, and orphanage education projects. They attempt to target the single parent households who are at highest risk and provide them with the support they require to continue providing care for their child(ren).

It is estimated that there are 132 million orphan children in the world. 13 million children around the world have lost both of their parents. Orphans Overseas is committed to preventing this number from growing by providing developmentally enriching programs to vulnerable children and families.

We are honored to be a part of Orphans Overseas mission and applaude the great work that they do!
