2015 Go Global Reception

National Engineers Week

From February 22-28, our nation celebrates "Engineers Week," highlighting the remarkable ways that engineers affect our lives. This year's theme, "Engineering New Horizons," brings together 70 engineering, education, and cultural societies, and more than 50 corporations and government agencies.

From developing cutting edge technologies, new aircraft and space vehicles, to fabricating components and systems exported throughout the world, to maintaining a dynamic air transportation system and our military aircraft fleet, to helping young people discover the wonders of flight, to educating the public about the value of aerospace to our state - each of you make a difference - and for that, we applaud you!

AUVSI Unmanned Systems in Precision Agriculture Conference

The Unmanned Systems in Precision Agriculture Conference 2015, is an event showcased by the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI). STEM Education is the key to moving our economy forward. GeorgiaFIRST is an organization advancing this effort across the state of Georgia. They engage kids in the creative 'hands-on, minds-on" process of technological innovation, and their goal is to get kids excited about science and technology. World War II Heritage Days
Location: Peachtree City, GA
April 17-18, 2015

The WWII Heritage Days presented by the Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) is held in Peachtree City each year to educate the public about the sacrifices of "the greatest generation" during World War Two. The exhibits include WWII era military aircraft, vehicles, armament and demonstrations by the participating groups throughout the event.
