St. Charles Sportsmen's Club has a new WebSite
The new website will make our volunteer organization easier to transverse, provide a standardized communication platform for all member, security and modernization to give club members the look and feel of our club.
The club is moving in a direction to help us all have modern and secure tools to better provide services for all our members.
If you have any questions, concerns and or recommendation of what you would like to see, forward your e-mail to newsletter@scsportsmans.org. To log-in and create your own personalized ID and Password, click "Log-In" at the top left of the website and follow the directions provided by the website.
The system will verify your membership status and allow you to access to the information pertaining to your membership.
If we have registered your email at the club house or at membership (membership@scsportsmans.org) you will be given access only to your membership level.

SCSC Pheasant/Quail Hunt Club
has room for 20 additional members, the hunting season opens at our hunt club property October 1st 2013
SCSC offers hunting for upland game, both pheasant and quail, at our leased property near Norway, Illinois. Our fields feature natural cover in CRP acreage, creating a high quality environment. Fields and hunt times are booked with a hunting manager, and membership is limited, ensuring that hunting is in a natural and un-crowded environment.
Two types of membership are offered, according to whether one is a Full Member of SCSC or a Shooting Member.
Visit our web site for details;

Log in, under leagues & events, Hunting Program
In addition to pheasant hunting, we also offer a quail event at no additional charge, releasing 300 quail for the first 40 members of the program to sign up. Additional quail are available during the season for purchase and release by members.
To sign up or additional questions, contact either thehunt@scsportsmans.org.

Membership
Notifications
Currently we are unable to process Proximity Cards for Membership. We at the SCSC apologize for this inconvenience, and hope to have it rectified as quickly as possible. We will let Membership know when the problem is corrected.
Please remember our club is run entirely by volunteer efforts.
Our staff at the front counter is not to blame for these problems, and we ask that you be respectful of them.
Enrolment
New membership is obtained through these steps:
1. A prospective member needs one "Primary Sponsor" who needs to be present at the Membership meeting to introduce him/her.
2. Applicant needs two other signatures on a completed application.
3. Copy of his/her FOID card.
A new applicant has 6 months to complete 8 work hours and attend an Orientation Meeting. These meetings are held every other month on works days at 12:30, meeting by the kitchen. (Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct, Dec).
The safety meeting is held following the Membership meeting, and is mandatory. The safety meeting IS NOT the Orientation Meeting.
Once an applicant has completed the necessary requirements, he/she is voted in by the Board of Directors. He/she then needs to complete a Machine Training Class, taught by the staff, held monthly on workdays at 12:00PM.
You cannot attend this class until you have been voted in as a Full Member. Once this class is completed the Member will be able to activate his/her Proximity card and purchase keys to the buildings.
Good shooting,
Membership, SCSC
