My last update included information about an upcoming basketball tournament between the City of Napa, County of Napa and City of American Canyon benefitting our very own Boys and Girl's Club and the new clubhouse project that will be built right here in American Canyon.  The date has been changed to Monday, April 18th at 6 PM. Here is the flyer. You may also join the event on Facebook by clicking here. It promises to be a lot of fun, there will even be contests and prizes!

Had enough basketball on TV and want to see some real hoops? April 18th too far away? Here's your chance. Tomorrow American Canyon High School is hosting the High School NorCal Regional Finals for boys and girls basketball with the winning teams advancing to the State Basketball Championship next week.
NEW! Community Calendar Now Available

Are you associated with a group? Want us to help you promote your group and events?  Check out a couple of new things we just added to our website.

We've added a page to list  Community Service Groups in town.  Non-profit community service, sports, educational, religious, or similar non-commercial and non-political groups with clear ties to American Canyon are welcome to join this list.  Email us with information about your group and we'd be happy to add it.

The City now hosts a Community Calendar on our website homepage.  This tool can help groups promote events and will also be a good one-stop location for the community to learn more about what is going on in town.  Any American Canyon events that are open to everyone can be included.  Read more about the process to use the calendar

We'll also highlight a couple events in upcoming newsletters and provide a link to the calendar for all of our readers to see.

Oops, last week we identified Dan Wolk as the Mayor of Woodland.  Wrong.  He is the Mayor of Davis.  Sorry about that!
