This Week on the Agenda

We know that many of you WANT to keep up with what's going on at City Hall but who has the TIME?  In an effort to help you stay informed we will be including this feature in every Friday Update.

On April 16th the City Council will hear an appeal from Freedom PCS. Freedom PCS, a business located on Hwy 29, is appealing the revocation of their business license by the City Manager in February.  The City has concluded that the business is engaged in offering entertainment and amusement and therefore cannot operate without going through a Conditional Use Permit process.  Freedom PCS contends that their business only sells pre-paid phone cards, cell phones and internet access and should not be required to obtain a Conditional Use Permit. The City Council will act to either let the revocation stand or reverse or modify the decision.
