New Math Curriculum Off to a Strong Start |
This year we are implementing Bridges, our new math curriculum. This program focusses on creating mathematical problem solvers. We are already seeing great problem solving and creative thinking happening across the grade levels.
Although you are getting information on Bridges from your child's teacher, the public bridges website provides a variety of grade level resources for families. This includes lots of games for students to play at home. If students pick their grade level and then scroll all the way down, click the link that says "age appropriate books and games," there is a ton of links for students to access and play at home.
Some other great sites:
Bedtimemath.org (click on today's fun math, parents can also sign up to get a daily problems through email.)

School Hours 8:30AM - 3:10PM
Please keep in mind that students need to be in their classrooms ready to learn by 8:30 to not be considered tardy. Five unexcused tardies constitutes one unexcused absence.
Please plan to have your student at school between 8:10 and 8:20 when the doors open. We would ask that parents not go to classrooms after 8:30 unless they have made arrangements with the teacher. |
