Our Annual Campaign Chairs, Barbara and Gerry O'Donnell, invite you to join them for our 125th Anniversary Gala sponsored by Wells Fargo on Saturday, September 13th, from 6-11pm at the Westmoreland Club. This year we will be auctioning off a trip for two to Bermuda along with many other great prizes!

Annual Golf Classic 
The George Ralston Golf Classic will be hosted by Wilkes University and the Rotary Club of Wilkes-Barre and sponsored by Kentrel and Odak. Proceeds will benefit children's programs at the Osterhout Free Library. 
 
Enjoy a fun day of golf on Friday, September 26th at Edgewood in the Pines in Drums. Registration and breakfast will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. $100 per person.

Meet our new Teen Librarian!

Please welcome Caitlin Thomas who joins the Osterhout Free Library as the Teen Librarian! 

She is a 2009 graduate of Misericordia University.  While studying at Misericordia, she majored in Communications and Minored in Literature.  During her senior year, Caitlin spent six months studying in Dublin Ireland.  After graduating Caitlin first studied for her certificate in Graphic Design for a year while interning at a design studio.  Once she completed her Graphic Design Certificate, Caitlin relocated to Philadelphia and worked for two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA serving at risk youth in low income communities.
