You're invited to a Birthday Party!

In celebration of our 125th Anniversary, the Osterhout Free Library staff cordially invites you to celebrate our birthday with us by attending a reenactment of our 1889 Grand Opening on Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00am.

Staff members will dress in the style of the late 19th century, and there will be a display of historical photos. A time capsule will be filled with 2014 mementos, to be opened in 2114 on the 225th anniversary. Birthday cake, coffee and other refreshments and snacks will be served to all guests. Come on, who doesn't love birthday cake? Yumm!

But the party does not end there! The Library will continue to celebrate our success all year long with special events for all ages. Join us here on Monday, February 3rd at 5:30pm for a SWB Penguins autograph session with 2 players and TUX. More info.
