Happy 125th Birthday to us!
The Osterhout Free Library is celebrating 125 years of providing the community information for their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs free of charge. Come celebrate with us on Wednesday, January 29th at 10am for a re-enactment of the 1889 Grand Opening! Cake and coffee will be served. There will also be historic photos on display. Socrates Cafe Discussion Group
Join us Thursday, January 9 from 6:30-7:30pm in the Reading Room to discuss, listen to, and raise questions about a topic chosen for the evening. Free coffee will be served. More activities.

 Wednesday is Teen Night with pancakes!
The Osterhout Free Library's Teen Night is held on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30pm. Come watch a movie, play games, enjoy snacks or do a craft. It's a time for teenagers to meet new friends, talk about books they are reading, and just hang out. The next Teen Night will be held Wednesday, January 15th for pancake night! Yumm!

 Join OFL's knit and crochet group: One More Row
One More Row meets every other Saturday to chat, craft, and drink tea. The next meeting will be Saturday, January 18th from 10:30am - Noon. Check our events page to view additional dates.
Interested in learning to crochet or knit? No problem! While One More Row is not a formal class, we do teach. To learn to knit, bring a 5mm (size 8) knitting needle and any color of medium Worsted weight yarn. To learn how to crochet, bring a 5.5mm (size 1) crochet hook and any color of medium Worsted weight yarn.
