Please Consider Helping Us with our Giving Tree Project!
November is finally here and for Service League of Green Bay, that mean our Giving Tree project is in full swing! Each year, our members work together with Encompass Early Education and Care, Inc., to provide Christmas presents for children who otherwise would not receive them. Each one of our active and active associate members is given the opportunity to select a child or children to purchase Christmas gifts for, based on a wish list the child has created. It is a wonderful way for us to give back to our community, as each of these children attend one of the Encompass centers in our area. If you would like to help us this year by purchasing gifts for a child, please contact Renae Schnaubelt at (920) 217-1712, or rschnaubelt@yahoo.com.

President's Message: Deb DeLeers
"Great things are brought about and burdens are lightened through the efforts of many hands anxiously engaged in a good cause." - Elder M. Russel Ballard
In this season of giving, our organization remains focused on giving back to the children in our community. The holiday season provides many opportunities for our members to give of their time to make the holiday season brighter for those in need. This month many of our members will participate in our annual Giving Tree, as well as volunteer their time to community activities.
The Giving Tree provides first names, ages and wish lists of Encompass children who may otherwise not have a Christmas without our members' generosity. In previous years, we have been able to provide Christmas to 100 children. We hope to do that again this year! If you are interested in participating and bringing the magic of the Christmas season to local children, please contact Renae Schnaubelt at rschnaubelt@yahoo.com. We are also hosting the third annual Service League "Windy City Shopping Trip" to Chicago. The bus trip will be held on November 15th and is open to the general public. All funds raised from this event will go to benefit Service League's projects, including the Back To School Store, Basics for Babies, Basic Necessities, and Teens for Independent Living. We'd love for you to support us by gathering all of your closest friends for a fun-filled day taking in the sights and sounds of the Magnificent Mile. Trust me, shopping has never felt so good!
Our goal again this year is that we also give $50,000 to the Back to School Store and continue to support our other programs. The children of Brown County need our services now more than ever. As you enjoy this season of giving, please remember our organization and help us to continue to give back to the children in this community!
Respectfully yours,
Deb DeLeers
