Service League of Green Bay January 2014 Newsletter
|
President's Message: Joey Liebmann
"Service to a just cause rewards the worker with more real happiness and satisfaction than any other venture of life."
~Carrie Chapman Catt~
I hope the New Year has begun with everyone feeling rested and energized from a magical holiday and the promise of a great 2014!
January is typically a time of resolutions and plans for positive changes. Oprah once toasted "Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right!" And she is right! This is our chance to start anew with a positive attitude and our arms and hearts open to the possibilities of new beginnings! In this same spirit, Service League is excited to introduce a new spin on an old favorite. Our annual fundraiser, the Big Blue Bash, is going Gatsby! Our Gatsby-inspired soiree, is certain to bring out the best 'flapper to dapper' attire and a great time too! The event will take place on March 8th at the Radisson. We are anxious to have a Chicago Blues Band, Reverend Raven and the Chain-Smokin' Alter Boys join us for a night of great music! As always, we have a great selection of silent and live auction items to fit everyone's taste! So grab your friends and let's celebrate another Beautiful, Bountiful and Booming event - all to benefit the children of Brown County. We hope to see you there!
