SnowflakeThanks for Supporting  Encompass Families
Thanks to your generosity Service League was able to sponsor 95 children through the Encompass Giving Tree this year. Parents who are unable to afford Christmas presents for their children are now able to see the delight on their faces on Christmas morning.

President's Message: Joey Liebmann

"Service to a just cause rewards the worker with more real happiness and satisfaction than any other venture of life."

~Carrie Chapman Catt~

The Holiday Season is a time to reflect on the successes of the past year, a time to spend with family and friends, and a time to be thankful for all the blessings each of us has. I am extremely thankful and proud of what Service League has accomplished not only this past year but for the past 80 years. Your hard work has allowed us to remain committed to the children in Brown County!

We enjoyed a busy November: providing Christmas to 95 Encompass children through the Giving Tree, day-tripping to Chicago on our 2nd annual Windy City Fundraiser and celebrating 6 seniors and their mothers at this year's Charity Ball.

We have continued to look for ways to be more efficient and productive while still providing high level of service to our programs and children in need.

2014 is just around the corner with new challenges and opportunities.  I feel especially grateful and confident because we have a talented team that has shown the ability to rise above and stay optimistic.

I appreciate what you have done this year to make our organization successful and want to say a sincere "Thank You" for your commitment and dedication throughout the year. I also want to send a special thank you to your family members and loved ones for sharing you with us and for supporting and encouraging you throughout the year.

Wishing you and your family a very happy and safe holiday season.

She is currently working at Knight Barry Title as a Closing Coordinator.

Jenna spent several years on the Big Blue Bash production committee, including acting as production chair for last year's successful event. This year she continues her role on the Marketing Committee and organized the Encompass Giving Tree.

Outside of Service League, Jenna enjoys going for walks with her dog and working out. She also enjoys traveling, playing golf, cooking and wine.

Another Memorable Charity Ball!
Charity Ball 2013 was held on Saturday, November 30 at Oneida Country Club.  It was a beautiful evening with 6 students being honored alongside their mothers:

Griffin Blumb (Marcia, Class of 1992)
Katie Dellamater (Anne, Class of 2002)
Ali Lemkuil (Wendy, Class of 1997)
TJ LeMoine (Erin, Class of 2002)
Colleen Mortell (Ellen, Class of 1999)
Jake Sproat (Pam, Class of 2003)

Close to 90 guests came for the senior presentation, dinner and dancing.  Interestingly, this year we had 2 mothers (Marcia Blumb and Ellen Mortell) and 1 father (Jason LeMoine) who had been presented themselves when they were seniors.

Ali Lemkuil (Wendy) is our $500 Charity Ball Scholarship winner.  To note just one of her many accomplishments - she has over 800 hours of community service in 3.5 years of high school! Congratulations to all of our Seniors!

Next year's Charity Ball will combine the Junior and Senior Classes and the tradition will continue every 2 years.

Thanks for your continued support of our programs!

Sincerely,

Service League Marketing Committee
