Get to Know Us: Jenna Bauer

Big Blue Bash Production Chair, Marketing Committee, Cookbook Committee

Jenna was born in Tioga, ND, and lived in Billings, MT and St. Cloud, MN before her family settled down in Ashwaubenon when she was in second grade. Jenna now lives on the West Side of Green Bay with her boyfriend Patrick Evans, and her 10-year-old spoiled Shih-Tzu, Buddha. She is currently working at Knight Barry Title as a Closing Coordinator.

After serving on the Big Blue Bash production committee for the past two years, Jenna "took the plunge" and acted as Production Chair for the 2013 Big Blue Bash. She also currently serves on the Marketing Committee as well as the Cookbook Committee. Jenna is so proud to be a major part of the success of Big Blue Bash this year. She had wonderful committee members to help her out, and thinks it is amazing to see all your hard work come together.

Outside of Service League, Jenna enjoys going for walks with her dog and working out. She also enjoys traveling, playing golf, cooking and wine.

 Big Blue Bash Raises $65,000!

With your help, and the help of our community sponsors, the Service League's Big Blue Bash- Blue Jeans, BBQ and Bluegrass event was able to raise over $65,000 for the children in Brown County! These funds will enable our organization to continue providing resources to the children in our community who need it the most. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's Big Blue Bash- Blue Jeans, BBQ and Bluegrass event a success!

Welcome Spring - I think its finally here!

This month, across the country, Americans are giving of their time, talents and energy...and not getting paid a dime! Its National Volunteer Month!  If you have been thinking about volunteering, April is the perfect time to reach out to your community.  If you have been looking for an opportunity, Service League is pushing full speed ahead with the Back to School Store!  Our largest program and in its 21st year, The Back to School Store will be held on August 7, 2013 at East High School.  If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Reva Shaw or Crystal Uebelher: revas@bbbsnew.org or uebelher@gmail.com.

Staying in the spring spirit - Service League has hatched a new fundraiser - a Baby Shower to raise funds and awareness for our Basics for Babies Program. The Event will be held on May 5, at the Encompass Bellin Center in De Pere - we are asking for donations of long sleeve sleepers (size 0-3 months and 3-6 months) as well as cash donations to be used towards layette items and pack and plays. Randi Fay has generously donated her new Lullabye CD to the event and will be on sale for $10 each.   If you would like to attend our first annual baby shower, or if you are interested in donating, please contact Gail Limoni or Deb Leis: Gailgail86@gmail.comor debraleis@yahoo.com

Last, but certainly not least, we have recovered from a successful and fun Big Blue Bash.  Thank you to everyone who came donated & supported us!  We are proud of the money we raised and humbled by the children we can help together with your generosity!

Very Truly Yours,

Courtney Peirce
