In talking to clients and students, and witnessing my own journey, I often see a pattern: the emotional cannon that swings from anger to hopeless, sometimes rather quickly. We often walk a thin line between the two.
Sometimes I have wanted so badly not to feel either that I rush myself into "acceptance." Acceptance is not the same as resignation. Repeat: Acceptance is not the same as resignation. Acceptance means I am really truly ok with this no matter what, and I am ready to move on. I can recognize a process (often negative or uncomfortable), without attempting to change it or protest.
So the question is, when should we soften and accept, and when should we commit and push forward?
Well, I offer you this: what if both could happen simultaneously? Mastering this unique blend is surely not easy. But how inspiring it is when someone blends and unleashes both qualities together in to a life promoting cannon!
Sometimes focusing on negative emotions is also a waste of energy. If I choose not to focus on anger, hopelessness, on how others treat me, blah day blah, and can control those thoughts and emotions from spiraling, I can instead use that energy to understand more about the universe, more about myself and can learn to become calmer in just about everything.

Virtual Acupuncture & Long Distance Energy
| Due to Anisha's travel and teaching schedule, she is not always able to accommodate all acupuncture appointment requests.
As a solution, Anisha will begin offering virtual acupuncture and long distance energy treatments. She has offered this option previously on a limited basis and now will be offering it more regularly. The benefits are the same with the added advantage of the comfort of your own surroundings and no commuting time!

Heal Faster with Qi Gong

Energy Healing
Many of you have asked me recently more about Qi Gong and the energy healing I offer in my practice. Those of my clients who practice Qi Gong on their own, outside of treatment, generally have less need for acupuncture, herbs and supplements, and continue to progress much faster.
The Qi Gong I offer to teach is based in a specific method called Pangu Shengong and can be learned in one hour.
Qi Gong is an ancient method from China designed to build energy reserves in the body. If you are feeling burned out and often tired, or low and depressed in general, this is the practice for you.
There are thousands of Qi Gong forms, associated with hundreds of existing schools and lineages. Some forms include a lot of physical movement -- similar to Tai Chi or martial arts forms. Others are primarily internal -- focused on breath, visualization, and sound in ways that require little or no physical movement. While all Qi Gong forms aim to cultivate life force, each of the many specific forms has its own specific techniques for accomplishing a particular kind of vitality and internal strength.
When we cultivate this Life Force or Qi, a life promoting environment is created inside your body in which disease and illness cannot exist. This occurs over time creating health and vitality in the entire body, balancing your emotions and soothing your nervous system.
The practice of Qi Gong is designed to calm us, and when we are calm, we have the ability to connect more deeply with ourselves and that which is greater than ourselves.
Pangu Shengong is one style and the style I find has the most benefit with the least amount of effort. The key philosophy behind Pangu Shengong is to have more love and less hate, and to have sincere and heartfelt relationships with others.
This practice works , not necessarily because of yourself but in spite of yourself, bringing you to a state of love. That state of Great Love allows you to absorb more life force in to your body, and increases your hearts capacity to love yourself and others even more. To learn more, visit www.pangu.org.
