How do we say good bye? It seems impossible to prepare for, maybe because it is. The uncertainty of what's to come, the how, the what, the when? My wise and dear mother said to me, "You can't. All you can do is be present when you are there and just BE. When the time arrives, you will be in THAT moment and feel what you feel and process it the way you'll know how." Simply put. But it doesn't seem simple at all.
Sometimes I want to hold on so tight it hurts, to cherish every little moment and have no regrets. Sometimes the grief is so much that if I even open up to it, I fear it may never end. And sometimes it isn't accessible at all, and my heart feels like a desert, dry to the bones of anguish. Those of you who have had to prepare for or have experienced great loss know exactly what I mean. Sometimes feeling deeply also means losing deeply. And the only way out is THROUGH. Through the fire, the mess, the sadness, until one day the brightness comes back, the clouds clear, and hope is born again.
The one thing that never changes through any of it is the Love. The love for what was, what is, what may come. The love for this life, the bitter and the sweet. The gratitude for being able to feel so fully and relentlessly. For not being shut down and withdrawn, for inviting it in, embracing it, and knowing, then, it doesn't have to last forever.
I am reminded of one of my favorite Rumi poems, which I will leave you with ...
THE GUEST HOUSE
This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they are a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice. meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.
Be grateful for whatever comes. because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.

Take an upcoming Pangu Yoga Workshop or Class
| We love to hear how Pangu Yoga has changed lives for the better! This beautiful practice is open to all, and all can experience the wonder and mystical healing of Pangu Yoga. Just read on to hear what one student had to say about how it's changed her life.
Recently I started taking Pangu Yoga classes and practicing on my own. After the first class, I couldn't believe how good I felt. I felt like I'd been given a special gift that permeated through my body and soul. The positive results were immediate. Words can't describe how it has changed my outlook on life.
My life feels more purposeful and focused. People I don't know well make comments that I seem more relaxed, more engaged, and happy. The light inside me seems to shine more brightly. On nights when I can't sleep, I repeat the password to myself. I find it calms my spirit, and I'm able to fall asleep more quickly. I find that through continuing to take more classes, continuing my home practice, and incorporating the password into my daily life, I'm able to maintain an ongoing positive energy.
Through Pangu, I've found a refreshing way to approach life where I'm focused on creating a positive life force. I hope all can share in the joy.
