Connecting you to tourism in South Africa
tourismZA - 101 Things Survey
Good day

It was good to meet you at the 101 things to do expo.

As discussed I have included an independent survey of the 101 Fun Things To Do Expo which we collate as objective feedback to both the exhibitors and the event organisers. Answers to the questions are collated and presented in a real time report. This means that once you have completed the survey your answers and suggestions are added to those already provided by the other exhibitors, when combined the resulting report provides an honest point of reference for all who participate. You will see that no personal information is divulged; we are only interested in the answers.

I have also provided a few links that will give you a better overview of tourismZA and its mandate in the tourism market.

That's it for now. It was good to touch base with you. If there is anything I can do to help connect you to the contacts we have in the tourism industry please let me know.

Regards,

Mike

Exhibition marketing guideline

Exhibition marketing works, period. The effectiveness and extent to which your exhibition marketing campaign works is also very much within your control.

  1. Plan your strategy and select the opportunities carefully - there are many opportunities; some are far better than others.
  2. Your display needs to reflect and accommodate the message you are trying to put across. As is the case with fishing, your display is the bait to attract the kind of fish you are looking for. Bear in mind that you're not the only one fishing; a couple of mismatched, old-school pull up banners doesn't do it. There are many cost effective options available in the market place.
  3. Set your appointments before you even get to your expo. Only the brave, or the foolish, travel thousands of kilometres to an appointment they hope will come together when they get there. have! Setting appointments with the right contacts in advance is easier than you think.
  4. Ensure that you have a simple, easy way to get the contacts you make at the expo directly into your mailing list so that they receive the information you promised them directly after the expo and into the future.
