2016 is already proving to be spectacular. This year provides you with unique opportunities to join me on local, national, and international classes and trips to learn more about the wildlands of the world as well as to hone your photographic and artistic skills. 

Review this newsletter and see what events catch your interest. Attend one of my photography or botanical illustration classes at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona, or attend a photo workshop at the Clark County Wetlands Park in Las Vegas or Nevada State Museum. For those of you with an adventurous spirit, travel with me to the Kalahari Desert and the Skeleton Coast of Namibia to photograph the wildlife, landscapes, and native people.

No matter which you choose, I will guarantee that you come away from the experience with a better understanding and greater appreciation for the awesome beauty and amazing diversity of our natural world.

This class will focus on nature photography with plenty of opportunities to practice your skills on Desert Museum grounds and with live animals brought into the classroom.

FINE ART WORKSHOP 

POSITIVELY PLANTS: Botanical Illustration for the Beginner
Conquer your fear of botanical illustration with this relaxed, beginner friendly workshop. This class is designed to teach you the skills necessary to accurately draw plants for scientific purposes. Classes are held at the stunningly beautiful Arizona Sonora Desert Museum adjacent to the Saguaro National Park in Tucson Arizona.

You are invited to visit my latest solo exhibition now showing in the Nevada State Museum-Las Vegas at the Springs Preserve. This thought-provoking exhibit, of large format black and white images, examines our growing estrangement with the world and the critical need to both recognize, as well as accept, our place within it.
