Years ago, I can't remember when, where, or the workshop leaders' name, I learned this fun and informative personality test. This test confirmed for me that I am able to dream up great ideas but have limited follow-through to achieve them. One of my strengths, defined by this test, is my determination and stubbornness. When I use my determination and stubbornness, I can achieve and manifest my desired dreams.
I learned all this by looking at my birth-date numbers in a specific way.
The Birth-date Box Test
I'll walk you through the Test and you can discover your strengths, too.
This box shows the pattern for looking at the numbers in your birth-date.
Now: make your own nine section blank box.
Next fill in your birth information. (Place your birth-date numbers in the matching location. (e.g. if you have a "1 in your date put "1" in bottom left corner, if you have a "9" put it in top right corner, etc.) If you have any number that is repeated, such as two 1's, because you were born on January first, both of those 1's go in the 1 box.

Now that you have your numbers in your box; here is how to interpret your box.
Add the number of entries per row to see what is dominant in your personality. Notice in my birthday example each row has two entries. This shows that I am evenly balanced between mental, spiritual and physical.
The top row: Represents mental awareness.
The middle row: Represents the religious and spiritual aspects of your life.
The bottom row: Represents aspects of physical life.
Now add up the number of entries in your first, second, and third columns to see what is the strongest in your personality. Referring to my birthday example, I have four numbers in the first column and only one in the second and one in the third column. It is easy for me to wish, hope, and dream but it is hard for me to follow through with drive, willpower, action, and energy.
The left column: Represents thoughts, hopes, dreams and wishes.
The middle column: Represents willpower, drive and control.
The right column: Represents activity, life force, action and energy.
You can now receive even more detail about yourself by looking at each of your numbers individually to get precise information on your personality characteristics
Box 1: Growth and expansion of thought.
Box 2: Unrestricted thinking; open mind.
Box 3: Multi-talented thinker.
Box 4: Ability and willingness to put thought into action.
Box 5: Will try anything once; adventurous.
Box 6: Loves to live and lives to love; marriage, children, beauty.
Box 7: Willingness to overcome solitude to allow high intellectual skill to be noticed.
Box 8: Denotes spiritual or religious activity in a person's life.
Box 9: The caretaker of humanity. An intelligent, serious thinker with a great capacity for humanitarianism.
If you have the numbers more than one time in the box (notice in my example I have two number ones) then the energy of this number is intensified.
The last step is to see if your box has a diagonal arrow
A arrow from the bottom right to the upper left shows compassion and sensitivity.

Bottom left to upper right shows determination/stubbornness.

I got so much out of this test that I've kept this information for a very long time. This test proves to me that there is order in the world because of the shared meanings based on dates of birth and the patterns that the nine numbers make that explain our lives.
