Details on our New Location!

After months of "playing chicken", we have found a location to move to! It is not far from our current location - 208 Elden Street, Suite 203 in Herndon. It's right off the Fairfax County Parkway and very near the Outback Steakhouse (a true landmark, in my opinion). We are working feverishly and the move is already underway as this building will be evacuated and torn down - beginning in early November (which is somehow right around the corner).

We have soooo appreciated the care and concern you've expressed over the past month. We've always felt like a community with you all - we've enjoyed being a part of your lives all these years. But you have really shown the love back to us in this past month. When things were particularly challenging in finding a spot, I actually thought maybe it was a sign that I should just close up shop and appreciate the eleven years we've had. You all responded, quite vocally, that closing was simply not an option :-)

Now, you are blessing us by asking how you can help. We are so grateful for the generosity you've offered - everything from packing boxes to loading down your vans to making donations towards the expense of all the renovation that is required. We are grateful for all of those offers. Here are some specifics:

If you'd like to help pack and unpack boxes, let us know. We will likely be doing that the week of October 27. I don't have a specific day pinned down yet, but that's the week it is likely to happen.

If you, or your significant other, is handy with a hammer and nails, we will be hanging slat wall, grid wall and pegboard in the new location on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 & 26. Let us know if you'd like to join us.

If you'd like to make a financial contribution towards all of the expenses (which I can enumerate if you are interested - Wowzer!!!), you are welcome to stop by the current store or even use Paypal. Let me know, and I'd be happy to talk to you about that.

All of us here are so grateful for the opportunity to continue to be your Local Stamp Store. Celebrate with us as we start this new journey! Oh, and we are still open at our current location at least through October 26.

New Classes!

We have started posting classes all the way through December.  Note that the November and December classes will be in the NEW LOCATION!

What's New?

Tons of new products have arrived!  We got in lots of colors of the My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink pads.  They are all the rage!

We have LOTS of sizes of the Scor-Tape that Els used in her Glitter workshops last week.  Come and get 'em.

Memory Box. We have the brand new winter release of dies and stencils. There are pine needles that coordinates with the pinecone frame, holly, ornaments, and a super-cute polar bear.

WPlus9. Gorgeous new stamps and dies for the holidays. We have the Hand-Lettered Holiday set, Festive Greetings, Snowflake Backdrops, and the beautiful Winter Woodland set. If you want to send elegant Christmas cards this year, definitely give WPlus9 a look.
