Greetings, friends!
I'm sitting here this morning thinking about how grateful I am to have met you all over the course of the last ten years. We were saddened this week to hear that the Archiver's chain was closing all of their locations by mid-February. We weren't fortunate enough to have an Archiver's store in our area, but those of you who have shopped in one know how fabulous they are! The industry changed a lot in the 14 years of their existence, and we've noticed it too in our 10 years. So, again, we want to express our appreciation for your continued support - we know that having a stamping community is important to you. A place where you can come for classes and inspiration and to share your stories and your lives. We hope to see you often this year (remember, we're bribing you - see the article below)! If you'd like to read more about the Archiver's decision to close, click here.
Fondly, Angela

What's Coming up?
Every Thursday, we offer a FREE make-and-take card. You can stop in any time between 10 & 8 and enjoy some crafting time! Today, the card (pictured below) features new dies from Memory Box and Impression Obsession. You can send this wonderful, wintery card for any occasion!
Next week, January 23, we are using more new dies and stamps from Impression Obsession, and scalloped cards and card liners from The Paper Cut. Super Sweet!
And, don't forget our FREE Tuesday Learn at Lunch sessions with Angela. These run every Tuesday between 12 & 2. This Tuesday, Angela will be showing you fun with Bleaching Techniques. She will then start incorporating new products as they arrive from CHA. Currently, the plan is to do the following:

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!!!

New Classes!
We've started adding classes for the winter, so be sure to check out what we're up to! I (Angela) have come up with a new idea (I told you I was up to trouble) that I hope you will join me for! It's called Theme Night - and beginning February 26, we'll meet the 4th Wednesday night of each month from 6-9 PM. I will create 2 card projects for you to do around a certain theme, and then you can bring in your supplies around that theme and make more cards - and we'll inspire each other! Visit the web site to register and for more details. I can't wait!

Save the Date! We've been busy planning lots of fun new events for you in the coming year! We've already mentioned our Open House.
We are also excited to have Sweet 'n Sassy back for another trunk show and series of classes. They will be here the weekend of February 28/March 1. More details to come.
And then we are welcoming a new artist, Linda Bradbury, for a series of workshops May 16 & 17. She was recommended by one of you, who saw her projects while visiting a shop in North Carolina. This is one of our favorite ways to find new talent, so keep your suggestions coming. And stay tuned for more info!
