Texas Targets Conservatives

GOP incumbents try to limit the political speech of critics.  

 On political oversight of tax-exempt groups, plenty of mischief can be made far from Washington. The latest example comes from Texas, where state lawmakers have passed the kind of campaign disclosure bill that Congressional Democrats have tried but failed to impose.

The bill requires that all social-welfare and nonprofit groups that spend more than $25,000 a year on politics report the details of their spending. The groups, which file under sections 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(6) of the tax code, would also have to disclose their donors, providing a new opportunity for advocacy groups to intimidate businesses and others from participating in elections.

This bill, S. 744, grants immediate amnesty to the estimated 11 million illegal aliens in the country and only promises for future plans to secure the border. The bill also grants broad new powers to the scandal-ridden Obama Administration and will cost an estimated $6.3 trillion.

When Did We Vote to Become Mexico?  

 At first I thought the IRS scandal was leaked to distract from the Benghazi scandal. But that didn't make sense because the IRS scandal is a more obvious abuse of power than the White House lying about the murder of four Americans in Libya.

 

Before I had resolved which scandal was distracting from which, we found out the Department of Justice was spying on The Associated Press -- not to protect national security, but to prevent the AP from scooping the White House. Then, this week, it broke that the Department of Justice was also spying on Fox News for reasons that remain unexplained.

Meanwhile, Sens. Marco Rubio, Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and John McCain are working feverishly to turn the country into Mexico.

So now I think all the scandals are intended to distract from Rubio's amnesty bill.

  Why Were DHS Agents Seemingly Monitoring Multiple Tea Party IRS Protests Across the Country on Tuesday? Including us!

There were multiple reported sightings of agents with the Department of Homeland Security at several Tea Party-led IRS protests in states like Missouri, Florida, Illinois and Indiana. The rallies that occurred across the country on Tuesday were sparked by the IRS' unfair targeting of conservative groups - one of the several scandals the Obama administration is dealing with.

What is unclear though is why federal officials felt the Tea Party presence required more than the attention of local law enforcement.  Read More......

Columnists Who Met with White House Tuesday Write Same Thing Wednesday

It should be noted that Klein doesn't specifically call for Lois Lerner to be fired, but both are calling for "firings" at the IRS within a half-hour of one another.

It should also be noted, though, that six days ago Klein wrote a column claiming Obama's scandals, including the IRS scandal, were "falling apart."

Just a few moments ago on MSNBC, Klein lashed out at civil service protections that won't allow for IRS employees to be fired. It looks as though the White House might be using these guys as a way to convince the public that firings are the answer.  A few heads on pig poles and we can call the scandal over.
