Yet another communication that never arrived
We'll never know for sure whether Saudi Arabia really did warn the USA in writing about the terrorist attack intentions of one Tamerlan Tsarnaev, but we do know that President Barack Obama slept through the slaughter in Benghazi.
"A senior Saudi government official told Daily Mail that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012. According to the source, the letter was pertaining to Tsarnaev and potential terror threats." (Daily Mail, May 1, 2013). (Update: Saudi Arabian ambassador in Washington now DENIES warning United States)
Is this a Saudi Arabia/USA "You-cover-my-back-and-I'll-cover-yours" game?

The Know-it-All Suddenly Knows Nothing
Apparently a lot of people who know nothing reside at the top levels of the Obama administration. Why does that not come as a surprise?
It's probably because the tone of any organization is set from the top, the very pointy top.
Still it's surprising that the administration that knows more about banking than bankers, more about healthcare than doctors, more about firearms than people who legally possess arms, more about budgets than citizens who have to balance their checkbooks and more about practically everything than anyone else, would admit that on a few things, they really know nothing.

 House Dismantles Fourth Amendment While America Distracted
While Americans were focusing on the Boston Marathon bombings and defending the Second Amendment to the Constitution from the Senate's efforts to eliminate guns, the House was busy about the business of destroying the Fourth Amendment.

Glenn Beck continues his effort to prove that the Saudi national initially considered a suspect in the Boston bombing is an al Qaeda "control agent" being protected by the government. Bring it on!

Recent developments in the American petroleum sector have utterly exposed the rhetorical excesses of Obama, suggesting his speeches are designed towards supporting a certain ideology over known facts. During a period where Barack's energy policy can be succinctly quoted as, "We can't drill our way out," huge advances are being made in stateside production , daily. In fact, America recently passed Saudi Arabia as the world's #1 petroleum producer. Moreover, the EIA announced the US will be fully energy independent by the year 2035.

Environmentalists Killing US Economy
Last month, Earth Day came and went. Perhaps you missed hearing about it. For 2013, the theme was "The Face of Climate Change." Other than a change in the Post Office cancellation mark on your letters from the usual wavy lines, to the four stick-like wind turbines and a sun symbol, there was little note of what was once an event celebrated by 20 million Americans. Tim Wagner, Utah representative for the Sierra Club's Our Wild America Campaign, groused "Media coverage of global warming has virtually disappeared."

Can Liberals be This Dumb? Forward!
True Liberal wrote: Maybe the best way to combat the growth of these big banks is to charge them a 10 point penalty that will fund any bank failures. Large banks would be charged this penalty and the smaller banks would not. There would be a disincentive to the too big to fail banks.
That's what FDIC insurance is supposed to take care of. Banks already pay into an insurance fund to guarantee depositors against bank failure. The problem is that if all the banks- or some of the biggest- went at the same time, there'd not be enough money in the fund to bailout depositors.
With money market funds, there really is no reason for depositors to have cash accounts over $250,000.

Your weak-willed responses, to the USS Cole, the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings, emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder until 9/11/2001.

Texas House passes 12 firearms bills on 'gun day'
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - The Texas House approved a batch of bills Saturday to further soften gun laws that were already among the country's most firearms-friendly, allowing college students to carry handguns in class, putting potentially armed marshals in public schools and exempting the state from any future federal bans on assault rifles, high-capacity magazines or universal background checks.

Our 912 meeting at Mario's next Wednesday, May 8 will feature constitutional authority, KrisAnne Hall, who will speak on the Commerce and General Welfare Clauses of the U.S. Constitution.
Meeting Starts at 7:00 pm but we ask people to gather between 6:00 and 7:00 pm for dinner at Mario's.
