Did you hear the news? Representative David Simpson announced his candidacy for TX Speaker of the House and Representative Bryan Hughes officially endorsed Rep Simpson on Monday, 12/10/12.
There had been a buzz flying around that Simpson was considering to run and Hughes told a group of Tea Party leaders on Saturday, 12/8, that he would not split the conservative vote. As a man of his word, Rep Hughes issued this statement .
Needless to say, the CLTP Executive Board is fully supporting David Simpson's bid for TX Speaker of the House and we invite you to join us!
