This past election cycle, two Clear Lake Tea Party members were elected to League City City Council. Heidi Thiess and Geri Bentley. Women of courage and principle, their battles have only just begun now that the campaigning is over. We congratulate Heidi and Geri but now we must do more. We must support them in their decisions and stand by their side during their battles for good government and fiscal accountability.

We alerted you recently to how our country's representatives to the United Nations -- in less than 24 hours after the President's reelection -- cast a vote in favor of producing a UN gun-control treaty in March, 2013.
The full-throttled march towards gun-control has begun.

Only those living in a cave for the past 20 years or so don't realize the ever growing size and intrusiveness of our federal government. The Constitutional restrictions of the federal government on the states, and the state's sovereignty, seem to be a thing of the past. And if We The People of Texas don't stand up and demand that it be stopped, we'll only see more of the same throughout the rest of our lives and the lives of our posterity. More......
