FMCSA Medical Examiner Integration Comment Deadline -

Reminder on FMCSA Medical Examiner Integration Comment Deadline  This is a gentle reminder that the comment period for FMCSA's Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on the integration of medical examiner's certification closes on July 9th. The particulars of this rule are available in the  legislative/regulatory alerts section of the AAMVA Web site, with details following below.  It is essential that jurisdictions consider the impacts of the NPRM on their own operations and comment now to avoid unintended consequences that may result once the rule becomes final.  AAMVA again requests states submitting comments provide a copy to AAMVA's Senior Manager of Government Affairs, Cian Cashin, at cashin@aamva.org so that those comments can be reiterated through those formally filed by AAMVA.3.

Answer to Trivia Question

The famous Hollywood Rat Pack of the mid-60s was well known for including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr and Peter Lawford. Who was the fifth male member of the group?

Answer: Joey Bishop

The group originally centred on Humphrey Bogart in the 50s, and for a time included Norman Fell and 'visiting' members Errol Flynn, Nat King Cole, Mickey Rooney and Cesar Romero. There was also a contingent of high profile actresses, somewhat condescendingly referred to as the "Rat Pack Mascots."
