A Living Tradition
Service Leader:  Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
Sunday, December 20 at 9:30 AM & 11:15 AM
Unitarian Universalism calls itself a living tradition. This means it is a tradition open to change and new revelation. What does it mean to be part of a living tradition as we enter a season so dominated by religious holidays and capital T - Tradition?
Next Sunday, December 27
Winter Sing with Igor
Service Leader:  Benjie Messer and Igor Glenn
Sunday, December 27 at 10:30 AM Only
To celebrate this season of music and singing, Igor Glenn leads a multigenerational, child-friendly singalong of folk songs, hymns, and gospel. Together we will make a joyful noise as we sing favorite songs and learn new ones, including some especially for the season. Igor will draw from his childhood experiences in the Deep South and his experience as a guide at the Musical Instrument Museum.

Outdoor Group
Saturday, December 26
The Outdoor Group arranges day hikes twice a month (second and fourth Saturdays) and New Year's Day. During the winter months, we hike mostly around the Valley and at other times of year we venture to higher altitudes where the temperature is more suitable for hiking (e.g., Prescott, Sedona, Payson, Flagstaff). Most outings include an easy option (2-3 miles, relatively flat) and a slightly more difficult hike (4-6 miles with some elevation change) so that many can participate. Hikers are expected to be well-prepared with appropriate hiking clothes including hiking shoes, plenty of water, sunscreen, basic first aid and snacks for the trail.
