March 29:  YRUU Sunday
Service Leader:  Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
YRUU invites you to our service on March 29. We will be introducing different takes on the meaning of intention and showcasing the talents of our youth group. We hope to create a better understanding of the teenage brain and how we make decisions.

April 5:  Easter Service:  Life Calls Us On
Service Leader:  Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray
Easter in the Christian tradition speaks to us of new life, renewal and the abundance of Spring.  It is also a story that reminds us even in our most difficult times, hope is present.  How does our own liberal tradition give us markers and stories to remind us of this truth?

New Day Meal Service Opportunity
Sunday, April 5, at 5:15 PM
Live out the UU commitment to serving those in need by serving a meal to the 150 parents and children of the UMOM New Day Center. This is a one-time, two-hour commitment. Please contact Janet Williams at the link below.
A UU Encounter with the Bible
Thursdays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, at 7:00 PM
(Please note corrected meeting day.) We UUs seldom explore the Bible. We will explore Jesus' teachings, drawing from books to understand his culture and see how the parables often meant something different than we conventionally think today. His teachings were so powerful that they engendered a major religion. There is reason for us to pay attention. We will also explore two Old Testament books that often resonate with UUs, Job and Ecclesiastes, because they pose questions more than offer answers.
