The great news is that EI skills can be learned and improved for better outcomes. This workshop will provide an overview of Emotional Intelligence and provide activities to practice the skills and learn to interact more effectively in a variety of settings. Faith Like a River: The UU Film Series.

Facilitator: Randy Miller.

Wednesdays, October 1 - November 19, 7:00 PM.
This film series will explore through eight two-hour sessions (using 6 films, documents, select readings and discussions) the historical development of Unitarian and Universalist ideas and practices over the past two thousand years. By embracing a more positive view of nature, UUs will feel free to re-examine religious traditions, scripture, and doctrines in the light of reason and science and, if necessary, revise them accordingly. From Ballou and Channing to Emerson and Parker, UUs develop a radically more universalist vision of their faith and future community. Moreover, as the faith and social standing of UUs matures, so will their strength and confidence mount in opposing social and political injustices in the modern era. Click here to register.

THIS SUNDAY AT 9:30 & 11:15 AM
