Sunday, May 4, 9:00-10:00 AM or 12:00-1:00 PM in the Johnson Room
What will next year's ministry look like?  Based on the outcome of our Stewardship Campaign, we will need to make some changes in our goals for next year.  Join the Board and Rev. Susan to hear how we are weighing priorities and changes for next year.
THIS SUNDAY, 9:30 AM &11:15 AM
April 27:  So Many Questions!
Service Leader: David Weaver

People we think of as wise are typically inquisitive, thoughtful and open-spirited.  They're not afraid to ask questions, and are able to live with questions that may not have immediate answers.  But how does one discern what questions to ask?

NEXT SUNDAY, ONE SERVICE AT 10:30 AM
May 4: Religious Education Sunday
Service Leader: Susan Frederick-Gray & Anne Byrne
A sense of worth or dignity is often enhanced by teaching and learning.  This Religious Education service will highlight how our teachers and students "Pass It On!" to one another.  Our elementary-aged religious education students will share presentations of learning from the last year, and we will express appreciation to our volunteer teachers and advisors.

New Day Center Meal Service

Sunday, May 4, at 5:00 PM
Live out the UU commitment to serving those in need by serving a meal to the residents of the UMOM New Day Center.  Volunteers meet at the center at 5:00 PM and help feed a nutritious meal to the 150 parents and children who are living at New Day and rebuilding their lives.  This is a great opportunity for singles, couples, families with children (age 8+) or interest groups here at UUCP to be of service, spend time with friends and make new ones.  This is a one-time, two-hour commitment.  Please email Michael Hipps or call
602-488-1188.

UUCP Variety Hour

jazz-musicians-blue.jpg
Thursday, May 1, at 7:00 PM in the sanctuary

UUCP's Variety Hour is a low-key, all-ages, anything-goes chance to share something creative with our UUCP community, either by yourself or in a group.  Tell a joke, sing a song, act out a skit, do a magic trick, recite a poem, play a musical instrument, pass around your photos, turn on a machine you built, do a dance, draw a picture, share some cookies from a recipe you created, etc.  It's like a talent show, but there's no talent required- just an appreciation for what everyone has to offer. Non-performers are welcome to be there to enjoy and applaud our performers, of course!
There's no need to sign up in advance, but if you have questions, please email Benjie Messer.
Annual Congregational Survey

We are excited to present to you the Annual Congregational Survey.  We would love to hear from you!  This survey will provide valuable feedback and reflection about the ministries at UUCP. This Annual Survey is a tool we will use to evaluate our Strategic Ends as well as create a baseline to track changes and improvements over time.

The survey should take 10 - 15 minutes to complete.  Thank you very much for your time and your input! The deadline for completing the survey is May 12, 2014.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact the office at 602-840-8400 x201.
