Review 80 sample programs of study
If you have been interested in creating a program of study (POS) at your school site, we now have over 80 sample programs of study. They can help teachers and administrators learn how to sequence classes to make programs more meaningful. CTE programs of study can begin as early as 7th grade. Many programs of study create a seamless pathway from grades 7 through 14. Get started now creating your own program of study. California Programs of Study are on the State Center Consortium site. To receive the California POS template, or for assistance in creating your POS, contact alyssa_lynch@sccoe.org. |

See the UC A-G CTE numbers
In 2004, there were only 3,336 CTE A-G courses. Now in 2013, we have over 10,000 CTE A-G approved courses. Review the data to see the growth and trends in CTE A-G approved courses. You will be surprised at the number approved in history/social science, english, math, lab science, visual & performing arts and more. Last year in Santa Clara County, there were 50 new A-G courses approved. Here is the list of UC A-G CTE courses for Santa Clara County. |
