I THOUGHT I WAS HEALTHY

You all know I take vitamins, exercise, juice, drink loads of water, eat organic, eat 50% of diet raw, get 7 to 8 hours of sleep, a

void harsh cleansing chemicals, eat dark chocolate, drink red wine, avoid sugar, pray, meditate, take vacations to relax, forgive, and think good and happy thoughts.  Soooo, I thought I was doing everything I needed and then I discovered ESSENTIAL OILS and why I needed them.

Essential Oils are the very life essence of the plant.  Plants depend on essential oils to grow, evolve, and adapt to their surroundings.  They play an important role in defending against insects, disease, and harsh conditions.  I like to think of them as the 'plants immune system.' 

So why do we need them?  I believe God has shown us throughout the Bible that these essential oils were intended to be our 'go to' medicine.  After all the wise men (Magi) brought Jesus three gifts and two of them were essential oils.  Frankincense is an aromatic resin obtained from the Boswellia carteri tree.  Revered since ancient times, the oil is still valued today for its sin-healing properties, including DNA repair and support of respiratory function.  It is now being recommended to breast cancer patients due to recent studies.  It is anti-septic, disinfectant, astringent and promotes regeneration of healthy cells.  Myrrh is extracted from the Commiphora Mukul tree.  It has anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-viral properties.  It improves circulation, heals wounds, and boosts the immune system.  They have been used for medicinal purposes for over 5000 years.

Did you know that you could replace most, if not all, of your over-the-counter medications with essential oils?  Possible side effects include less doctor visits, perfect attendance at school, and more money in your pocket.  Remember chemical drugs only mask symptoms by blocking receptors in the brain.  They do not heal or correct the root cause.  Additionally these chemicals make it more difficult for nutrients, water, and oxygen to enter cells, and for toxins to exit.  This can lead to a myriad of problems like brain fog, fatigue, body aches, and much more. 

Essential oils can clean the receptor sites of affected cells so they can communicate with each other again and function properly.  So how do they do this?  One drop of essential oil contains 40 million trillion molecules (40 with 19 zero's) that can affect the body at the cellular level.  We have 100-300 trillion cells in our body, so one drop can affect each and every cell 40 times. 

WOW!  That's why ESSENTIAL OILS are so powerful.  In the next issue of Health and Beauty Talk, I will tell you more about the essential oils you need in your medicine cabinet and why not all oils are equal.  If I gave you a glass of water from the toilet and one from a bottle of Ozarka, which one would you drink?  They are both water, but they are not equal.  The same goes with essential oils and most are corrupted with chemicals.  I will show you how to tell the difference.  So stay tuned in!!!!

I just read Martie Whittekin's new book:  Aloe Vera - Modern Science Sheds Light On An Ancient Herbal Remedy.   Wow!  She confirms everything I've always told you about the miracle plant, Aloe Vera.  She explains that it is "fairly common to find aloe in the ingredient lists on both mainstream and natural cosmetics and lotions.  Usually it's the moisturizing effects that are promoted.  As I mentioned, you need at least 30% concentration for aloe to be effective in these products, and when it's included at that concentration level, it does much more than just moisturize."
