Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is December 1.

As a science education charity, we rely on donations to subsidize the cost of our STEM workshops. One of the ways we do this is by participating in a Canada-wide initiative - Giving Tuesday.

Contributions to our #SiSImpact Fund make a real difference. Thank you for your continued support of Scientists in School!

#SiSImpact

We know you think STEM education is important. We do too.

For over 25 years, Scientists in School has been developing and leading workshops with one goal in mind: making an impact on STEM education. This month, we are sharing examples of how Scientists in School impacts STEM learning and compliments the science curriculum.

Our mission is to ignite scientific curiosity in children so that they question intelligently; learn through discovery; connect scientific knowledge to their world; are excited about science, technology, engineering and math; and have their interest in careers in those fields piqued. As a charity, we rely upon corporate, community and individual donors, as well as school board partners for support to develop new programs, improve our existing programs, reach new communities, provide complimentary workshops to under-resourced schools, and subsidize the cost of all classroom workshops.
