GVHS NEWS!!!
The Gypsy Vanner Horse Society is now able to record the color genotype of a horse in the GVHS database, and the color genetics will also print out on the registration certificate!
If you would like this information recorded for your horse:
If sending a new registration, include the color test results report from a certified lab to the GVHS office along with your registration application.
This is not required, it is an optional benefit offered.
If you want to add the color testing information to our database for your horse, mail or email the color test report to the GVHS office. There is no charge to enter this data into our system.
If you also want a new registration certificate to be issued with the color genetic information included, send the ORIGINAL certificate of registration, the color test report, and a $25 fee to the GVHS registrar and a new certificate will be issued.
Notice:
If you are sending in the required DNA hair sample to the University of Kentucky for a NEW registration and would like to also have your horse color tested. They will give you $2.00 off the normal price for each color test IF you send in their color test form, and the color test payment at the same time (in the same envelope) as your DNA hair sample for parentage testing.

GVHS Stallion Service Sale Has Begun!!!
The GVHS annual Stallion Service Sale has begun. We already have several great deals for stud fees for breedings to some wonderful stallions. We will continue to add stallion service donations all through the 2015 breeding season. This program is only possible thanks to the generosity of the stallion owners. The funds to direct to supporting the GVHS events and programs.
