Do not worry....we will accept your declaration of Amateur status until the end of this month. To access the form CLICK HERE.

GVHS 2014 Show List
The GVHS currently recognizes the Gypsy horse classes in 19 different shows throughout the U.S. for year end show point awards in 2014. For a complete list of shows, locations and dates, please visit the following link: 2014 SHOW LIST
Note that not all shows on this list adopt the official GVHS Show Rules. Refer to individual show information to determine applicable Rules to best prepare yourself and your horse for the Show.
UPDATE TO SHOW RULES
In an effort to make the GVHS Show Rules more member friendly, a rule allowing 'place holders" has been added. There is still only one person allowed to handle the horse at a time but you may now have a person from the same division you are in (youth - youth, amateur -amateur and open- open) take your horse in a halter or color class to do the part you cannot do. We want you to come out and show off your Vanner.
The rule now reads....
E. Only one handler may be allowed in the ring with each horse, however place holder exchanges are permitted.
F. Placeholders of the same category as the primary handler are permitted for in-hand halter and color classes.
Do you have other ideas for improvement of the Show Rules? Is there a fun class you would like to see added? Send your suggestions to the GVHS Show Committee and we will see if we can help.
