Don't let your important clients get caught in the "spreadsheet trap"!

 

If you run our spreadsheet quote engine on a M-45 Preferred Best for $250,000 of guaranteed UL (GUL), the lowest cost forTransamerica a lifetime guarantee is $1,747.  Logic would dictate that your client should take the lowest cost, right?  Wrong!

 

Unlike other GULs, Transamerica's TransAce GUL with an annual premium of only $1,797 has a guaranteed 'return of premium' feature that can be exercised in the 15th, 20th or 25th year, or any year thereafter.  Look at these guaranteed ROP values!

  • Year 15:  Guaranteed ROP of $26,955
  • Year 20:  Guaranteed ROP of $35,940
  • Year 25:  Guaranteed ROP of $44,925
  • Year 30:  Guaranteed ROP of $53,910
  • Year 35:  Guaranteed ROP of $62,895
  • Year 40:  Guaranteed ROP of $71,880
  • Year 45:  Guaranteed ROP of $80,865

Linked Benefits - Life/LTC

                        

Give your clients an LTC rider on their GUL policy for less than the cost of a normal GUL.  For an example of how this works, we'll use a Male age 45, Preferred Best Non-Tobacco for $500K guaranteed to age 100:
  • The premium for a normal policy is $3,322 annually.
  • By choosing Protective's Income Provider Option, instead of receiving a lump-sum of $500,000 the beneficiary would receive a lump-sum of $100,000 with the other $400,000 spread out into monthly payouts over 20 years.  This brings the annual premium down to $2,362 annually.
  • Then, add Protective's Extend Care Rider to the policy with a 90 day Elimination Period and a $6,000 per month benefit.  The final premium is $2,754 annually. 

If your clients don't need a new GUL policy, opt for Lincoln's MoneyGuard or Genworth's TLC hybrid products.  These are simply a reallocation of existing assets.  Here's a great sales piece.  Contact Jeff at ext. 225 for questions or request a quote.

  • 3.50% guaranteed for 10 years on premiums of $200,000 or more
  • 3.25% guaranteed for 10 years on premium of $10,000 - $199,999

  • The Charter 14 offers an immediate premium bonus of 8% on all funds received during the first seven policy years
  • The Charter 10 offers an immediate premium bonus of 5% on all funds received during the first seven policy years

Disability Income

                        

Simplified underwriting makes it easier than ever to protect your clients' paychecks.  Your clients can obtain up to $6,000 of monthly benefit Standard Life without exams or financials, depending on the occupation class.

In 2015, make it a sales goal to open your clients' eyes to the importance of paycheck protection by implementing the D.I. and Coffee Sales Strategy, and keep the application process simple!
