United of Omaha has introduced a new, built-in, Return MOOof Premium feature on their GUL plans.  Clients have a 60 day window on the 15th, 20th or 25th anniversary to exercise the ROP option.  Transamerica has a built-in ROP feature on their GUL plans, as well.  Let us send you quotes for your next GUL sale.

What is the advantage of a Life/LTC hybrid product vs. a stand-alone LTC policy?
  • GenworthWith a stand-alone LTC policy you can spend a lot of money on premiums and never receive any benefit, unless you qualify for LTC benefits.
  • With a Life/LTC hybrid product either you or your beneficiary will eventually receive benefits in the form of LTC payouts if you need them, the leverage life insurance death benefit, or by exercising the return of premium function.  Someone is going to get back at least the premiums paid, or a higher amount.

Do you sell income riders to your clients?  Consider the following based on a F-60 depositing $100K with income payouts to start in 10 years: binocs
  • One of the industry's most popular income riders would create a Life Only monthly payout of $916.
  • A deferred SPIA creates a Life Only monthly payout of $979, or a Life with 10 Year Certain payout of $907.

Consider diversifying your clients funds into a combination of income riders and deferred SPIAs to provide flexibility and a higher total payout.
