Life Plans  

 

Effective August 18th, Genworth will remove their GenGuard GUL product for conversion purposes.  A current Genworthassumption product will be introduced.  The last date to submit a conversion for the GenGuard GUL is September 2nd.  The conversion request must be in Genworth's home office by close of business on that day.  If you have clients with a Genworth policy that have thoughts of converting to permanent coverage, now is the time to do it!

Life/LTC hybrid products have finally made headway with consumers.  Lincoln's MoneyGuard and Genworth's TLC enjoy the largest marketshare and are the most well known of these products.

Standard has launched their D.I. Incentive Program!  If you haven't sold individual D.I. (IDI) with Standard, now's the time to do it. 
  
From now through Nov. 14th you'll receive an American Express gift card for each of your first four IDI policies placed.
  Standard Life
  • 1st placed policy $50
  • 2nd placed policy $100
  • 3rd placed policy $150
  • 4th placed policy $200

Once you reach four policies, you'll achieve Preferred Broker Status, allowing you to quote IDI and BOE at a 10% discount.  And, if you place five policies by the end of 2014, you'll be eligible for that status throughout 2015, as well.
