Peripheral Vascular
Disease (PVD)
PVD is caused by disease thickening the walls in the aorta and large arteries that supply blood to the arms and legs. Disease in the legs is much more common than the arms.
When blood flow is decreased by blockages, pain can result. This pain can be brought on by activity and can be relieved by rest. Poor blood supply can also lead to poor healing of minor injuries, ulcers, and gangrene.
The risk factors for PVD are similar to those for heart disease, with cigarette smoking being most prominent because nicotine causes arteries and veins to constrict.
The rating for PVD with no history of heart disease is at least T-C and can be higher dependent on all factors. |

Life Plans
Reminder, Protective Life's turn-around time is very, very slow. If you submit an app to them, expect processing to take two-to-three times longer than normal. Transamerica has released their new Survivor Life product with an ROP feature for up to 100% of premiums paid on the 15th, 20th or 25th anniversary, or any anniversary thereafter. Let us provide you with an illustration on your next last-to-die case. Most companies have released their new 2013, AG38 adjusted GUL and GSUL plans. Lincoln National did not have to adjust their pricing, which results in their having the lowest cost for lifetime guarantees. Call for quotes! Presidential Life has withdrawn all of their life products from the market, including their guaranteed issue plan. However, we do have other companies available for guaranteed and simplified issue whole life. |
