2013 Report to the Community

It gives us great pleasure to report the key achievements for the year ending  2013 via our Report to the Community
Community Ambassador: Stephen Na
As a Community Ambassador, Stephen Na is a trusted informal leader representing Ready for School.  You can find Stephen assisting at community playgroups while engaging and informing parents on the important role they play in getting their children ready for school.  Stephen also establishes relationships with teachers and social service agencies in the community to make a connection and communicate the Ready for School mission.

Stephen brings a balance of customer service skills and a passion for the Ready for School mission. Before joining Ready for School, Stephen worked in the customer service industry. "I feel that my strong customer service background and skills have provided me the proper experience to build trust between myself and the families that I assist on a daily basis," Stephen says.  This experience has led Stephen to focus on the critical role of bridging the gap between home and school by providing parents the information and tools to prepare their children for success. Stephen is a firm believer that early education plays an important role in a childs lifelong success.

Stephen is currently studying toward a degree in Social Work at Grand Rapids Community College.

Playgroups happen daily.  Check out our Events Calendar
