 Where does this assembly leave us?
Our 2016 Synod Assembly set the stage for the work ahead with racial justice. Participants went through the three days in an extended worship service filled with prayers, testimonies, and opportunities for a widening understanding of our participation in God's work. Rather than simply tell you, we wanted to show you just some of the things that happened at our assembly and marked it as a significant time in our ministry together. Praying for Orlando
"It is with heavy hearts that we find ourselves praying again after a mass shooting," says Bishop Rimbo. "Again we cry out. Again we pray. Again we find ourselves searching for God's grace and hope in the dark."
