Partnership in the Gospel
At our 2016 Synod Assembly, we renewed our companionship relationship with the Northwest Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. This 18-year-old relationship has provided multiple opportunities for growth and learning, especially in congregation-to-congregation relationships. Newly revised by our Tanzania Companionship Committee, your congregation can use
Partnership in the Gospel, a relationship guide for congregational partnerships.
Mark your calendars for Udugu Sunday, September 25, when congregations pray for and lift up this relationship.

The work of the task force
"The Anti-Racism Task Force has identified a mission that drives their work: We seek to unify our synod in the wholeness of Christ by dismantling the walls of racism. We are all called to this mission together. We cannot engage this challenging, life-giving work without each other because we are connected to one another as the body of Christ."
