5th Annual Blues, Brews & BBQ
Saturday, November 10th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Participating restaurants will have the opportunity to compete in a spirited and fun competition. Restaurants will compete in several categories and offer samples of creative BBQ styles (not necessarily the traditional pork, beef or ribs) and signature coastal food. Breweries will offer 25+ refreshing craft beers and cocktails. The fun afternoon will feature "tasting stations" where guests can experience your food, LIVE entertainment, and cold beverages all against the backdrop of the Destin harbor. Guests purchase $ 25.00 tasting armband day of event. celebrity judges will judge the competition, guaranteed to be a fun and lively cook-off event. Prizes will be awarded to top winners in categories consisting of: THE PEOPLES CHOICE:
1ST PLACE
$ 1000.00 donation will be made to the charitable organization of the winner's choice.
2ND PLACE
$ 500.00 donation will be made to the charitable organization of the winner's choice.
3RD PLACE
$ 250.00 donation will be made to the charitable organization of the winner's choice.
Additional categories include: BEST TRADITIONAL BBQ MOST CREATIVE BBQ BEST SEAFOOD BBQ BEST BOOTH
ALL COMPETING PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE $ 250.00
10x10 tent, linens, electric, set up staff, utensils, paper products
Must Prepare for 250+ guests. Set up starts at 9:00 AM
Break down 4:00 PM
