Bounty on the Bricks raises $75K for SE Ohio Foodbank
ATHENS - The Athens Foundation, in partnership with the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations and the Sister's Health Foundation, recently awarded $75,000 to the SE Ohio Foodbank and Kitchen, a division of the Hocking Athens Perry Community Action Program, according to a news release.

The funds are a result of the Bounty on the Bricks Fundraiser held in Athens last August.... Read more
Coat distribution events held at LMHA

LORAIN COUNTY - LCCAA partnered with the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority to distribute winter coats to LMHA residents. 
 
Nearly 300 brand new coats in sizes 3T to adult XXL have been distributed on a first come, first served basis 
for children up to age 18. 
 
"We are proud of this partnership which meets a very real need in our community," said LCCAA Communications Director Carla Rodriguez. 
ASSOCIATION UPDATES
OACAA website update!
OACAA exists to support its members and strengthen a unified Community Action presence in Ohio. In an effort to provide you the best resources, we are updating our website. New features will include better search options, easy to navigate menus, and dedicated member only message boards to allow you to collaborate with not only OACAA staff, but with others throughout the network.

As the website is updated, we may experience short periods of downtime. Please be assured we are working hard to minimize outages and you may contact us at 614-224-8500 if you need any assistance. We thank you for your patience and look forward to the launch in mid-December!
