Diamond M Ranch Resort Newsletter
Fall on the Kenai River is here!!

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who made it to
this summer, including our hard at work volunteers.

What a wonderful summer of FUN!!

We do have some changes here at the resort.  Jason Young, our general manager, is no longer with us, but helped us find  Leslie Cottrell, who has been with us since April.  She is staying on to assist in the management of
Diamond M Ranch Resort.

She comes with 3 years experience in managing the Whitter Inn.  Leslie embraces the family dynamics of the resort and we are grateful to have her and her expertise on our team.

Moose paid guests a visit!!  You never know what you'll see when you open your tent door!!

The Caribou love the lawns come fall time and the Big Guy hung around the flats in view for weeks at a time this fall.  We are so lucky to enjoy the view year round!!
Family News
D.Anne's boyfriend came to visit and he is having so much fun, he stayed on to help long after D.Anne's departure.  We are grateful D.Anne was here to help us all summer!

She is now attending New Tribes Bible Institute
after completing her Bachelor's from Keiser University in Nicaragua.

Josiah worked hard at the resort this summer, as he has for many years.  We hope to move him into a more managerial position next summer.  The day he left, Mom and Son were able to hike 21 miles from Summit Lake to Resurrection Trail and out Devil's Pass.  What a send off...

Josiah is attending University of Alaska Fairbanks where they already have snow.  Snow never stopped this one; instead of sledding the snowy hills, he is riding his unicycle down!!  Watch out below!!
Darius and Sonora, as they continue to grow, were more and more helpful this summer in assisting guests and helping the resort with our goal of making customer service our #1 priority.

Thanks to their grandparents, Carrol and JoAnne Martin, they were able to experience 4-H and Junior Market Livestock.
Here they are above with their projects.

Blair, the head of our home and Diamond M Ranch Resort, keeps a smile as he helps all of us stay connected and working as a team!!

Let the trees of the forest sing,
let them sing for joy before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:33-34
