ANYONE FOR TEA?
In Sri Lanka's rolling green hills, lies Ceylon Tea Trails. Here, four colonial tea planters' bungalows, offer wonderfully quaint and comfortable living. These plantations are the heart of Sri Lanka's Tea Country, with big horizons, mountain views, waterfalls, deep ravines & winding roads.
You can choose to head out with a tea planter as guide for an informative excursion, or walk at your own pace passing the friendly pickers, who will happily stop and show you the 'two leaves and a bud' technique, which forms the beginning of the tea-making process. You can follow the Tea Trails from one unique bungalow to the next, spending a night or two at each or just stay at one and laze by its pool.
